In-class learning is only part of the learning experiences available to our girls and we have an enrichment calendar brimming with engaging and diverse activities, that challenges the talented and uncovers, nurtures and drives students with learning ability and dormant talents.

We believe in the importance of character development and encourage our girls to cultivate qualities such as integrity, responsibility and leadership. Our Enrichment Programme provides ample opportunities for girls to explore their interests, develop their talents and build lasting relationships. From competitive sports teams to enriching drama programmes to engaging clubs, there is something for everyone at AESG.

We offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities.

We believe that a well-rounded education includes opportunities for pupils to explore their passions and develop their talents outside the classroom.

Here are just some of the Enrichment opportunities available to the girls:

  • Chess
  • Speech Competition
  • Gymnastics
  • Football
  • Robotics Workshop

Trips

Each year, pupils in the Prep School enjoy trips both to local museums, historic houses and places of interest and from Year 3, each year group goes on a residential which has included Glaramara Hotel in the Lake District and Delamere Forest.

The girls take part in Ghyll scrambling as seen in the video, abseiling, fell-walking, orienteering and archery.

The memories made last a lifetime and the trips are an opportunity to increase the girls’ confidence, resilience and begin to acquire their BeMore RemarkABLE attributes.

Visits To Our Local Care Home

As part of our Enrichment Programme, classes in the Prep School regularly visit one of the local care homes to take part in activities such as painting, cake decorating, singing, chatting and completing jigsaws.

This is a hugely enriching and rewarding experience for both the girls and also the residents who are uplifted by their visits and really look forward to them coming around.
