“It allows us to get to know other girls in the school, across all the year groups. It also saves my mum and dad time in terms of trying to get me to school! I am really thankful for the bus journey – it gives me an easy journey to school and long lasting friendships.”
Catherine, Sixth Form student
“The bus arrives at the bus stops promptly and we get into school on time. It is a great start to the day and I have formed many friendships with girls across the years. It also gives me a glimpse into other girls’ school lives – this was really useful when I was in Year 7 and 8 as the older girls used to tell me exciting things they had been doing in their lessons!”
Ellen, Sixth Form student

Public transport

Bus
The 130 bus route runs from Manchester – Wilmslow – Alderley Edge – Macclesfield. This bus stops at the front of school on Wilmslow Road.

Rail
The school is situated a mere 2 minute walk from Aldelrley Edge Train Station, which is on the main line from Manchester to Crewe.

Car
A number of parents choose to drop their daughters off in the morning. In order to ease the traffic and parking around the school we have a turning circle where parents can ‘drop & go’.

Girls are welcome at school from 8.00am in the morning. After school we run a free homework club in the Senior School allowing parents to collect their daughters at any time between 3.45pm and 5.45pm. We also offer Fun@TheEdge club for girls aged 3 – 11 years.
