Junior school pupils at Alderley Edge School for Girls got into the festive spirit last week as they participated in several Christmas nativities. Nursery and Reception girls performed Shine Star Shine, Year 1 and 2 girls performed Prickly Hay, and the girls in Years 3 to 6 performed A Christmas Dream.
In addition to parents, family and friends, the school was also happy to welcome visitors from Brookview and Cavendish Care Homes. The visitors were helped by Sixth Form girls and enjoyed chocolates during the performance, followed by drinks and mince pies made especially by Food Technology teacher Mrs Leigh.
The girls thoroughly enjoyed the festivities and Mr Lawrence Groves, Headmaster at the school was delighted with the performances and would like to thank all those who attended.
