What Makes Us Special

For those of you that have experienced the school, we know that you like what you see (because you have told us!)

For those of you that don’t know us well, there is much more to Alderley Edge School for Girls than you could ever imagine and we hope that you will come and see for yourself what makes us such a special place.

All of our girls are encouraged to excel - whether it be in the classroom, on the games field, on the stage in a concert or performance or at lunchtime discussing the topic of the day with their friends. 

Supportive, experienced and highly qualified teachers are experts in their areas and have a real gift in communicating their passion for their subject to the girls. Staff guide and encourage girls throughout their school life whether they are in the Early Years, Junior School, Senior School or Sixth Form.

Girls are courteous, civilised, caring and empathetic young women with high expectations of themselves and respect for others.
