AESG Vision Statement and Aims
Vision Statement
‘Aspire not to have more, but to be more.’
We are a dynamic school which fosters the wellbeing of each individual within a welcoming, safe and supportive environment. We recognise commitment, hard work and success, setting ourselves aspirational challenges to develop our talents to the full.
We are proud of our school and its Christian values, yet respect the beliefs of others in our community. We believe in social justice for all and feel a sense of responsibility for those less fortunate, for whom we provide support both locally and globally through our fundraising and community service.
Our Aims
1. At AESG, we aim to produce girls who are aspirational, diligent and confident learners. The holistic education they receive enables them to fulfil their academic potential with a strong moral compass based on Christian principles.
2. We seek to produce caring and empathetic girls who show a genuine concern for others and are keen to do all they can to make this a better world, both locally and globally. They are fully aware of the demands on them and others to be adaptable and responsible citizens in the Twenty First century.
3. We provide a broad, rich and balanced curriculum enabling girls to make the most of their individual talents and skills. By providing a stimulating, challenging and exciting environment we aim to develop independent learners with inquiring minds, a thirst for knowledge and passion for lifelong learning.
4. Our aim is to educate and care for girls aged from 3 to 18 within a warm, welcoming, happy and empowering environment. Ultimately, the girls leave us at 18 as positive, impressive young women ready to go out into the wider world and make a difference in their chosen field.
